Fun place to go, ambiance is old world charming and we always go with a big group of friends. The margarita pizza is delicious, the meat lasagna yumm and the litros of vino are always a fun to share with friends and family. Service is always friendly from checking in to the amazing wait staff.

I thought for sure I'd reviewed Lido's before but I now stand corrected. Lido's is different. It's the kind of place that when you pull up to the parking lot (yes, parking is good) you'll think that your car was actually a DeLorean, not a Honda Civic. Why? This place is stuck in time - in a good way. If you want fancy pants Italian food, go to Little Italy and pay three times the price that you will here. This is where you go for the classic red and white tablecloths, outdated decor, cheap wine, and cheap eats. This ain't knocking the joint, I live for this kind of a restaurant and you just don't find them anymore. Get the pizza, they're "known for it." It's affordable and it's neither fat or skinny. It's somewhere in between, has a nice crisp to it, and is all you really need for a cheap date night as you stare starry-eyed across the table over a carafe of red wine. So what are you waiting for? Go to Lido's, you big ol' lug!

This place is one of my fave Italian restaurants, homemade and taste good, not salty. Today the service was nice, server was attentive and accommodating. I like the paintings hanging on the wall, clean and cozy place, recommended.

I love this place!!! If you want a high end fancy eatery you can pass on this place; but if you want some good down home cooking stop in at Lido's. Good antipasto, good pizza, good pasta dishes. Friendly people. Appetizers that always make me laugh.

This Italian restaurant has been around for 70 years! They serve classic Italian food and it's always delicious ! The customer service is great. Been coming here for many years. Located in Lemon Grove on Broadway. This time I got the full order of meat lasagna, came with a plain salad, it's literally just lettuce and a pepperoncini and dressing of choice but it's still good, also comes with garlic bread and the waitress was nice to give us a complimentary appetizer cheeze-its with cheese and cold meats cut up in squares, the appetizers are usually only if you order pizza which I didnt this time. Lasagna and spaghetti were delicious as well as the plain salad. Also ordered the 1/2 spaghetti 1/2 lasagna with a side of 2 meatballs. Everything was tasty as usual.

A friend used Lido's based upon our research from Yelp, for her sister's repass. I can't tell you how happy we were that she was very happy with the quality and taste of the spaghetti and marinara sauce, the salad, bread and lasagna. We attended the repass and having lived in Italy, my wife and I were reminded of eating a great home cooked Italian meal. The staff were compassionate and caring. There were no surprises and everything was ready when they said it would. We are very thankful for their kindness and support. Grazzi-millé to Lido's for their service, support and real Italian cuisine that holds true to authentic Italian family style cooking. Aguri!

There's something about old-school restaurants that appeal to me. Might be the charm of consistently serving the community for so many years, the unchanged decor, veteran wait staff, or a menu that doesn't offer a bad meal; these folks do it the old school way and they do it right. From a curb appeal standpoint, this place won't impress you, but once you're inside amongst the throng of hungry patrons, makes you wonder how these folks found this place. I'll tell you how, by serving homemade Italian fare, consistently and with gusto. Featured on the lunch menu are pastas, meat entrees, soup, salads. And sandwiches. I opted for the Rigatoni with meatball and salad. The half order is $10.45 and for another buck you can have a full order.....no brainer, I got the full order and took half home with me for dinner. The pasta was cooked al dente and the sauce tasted like it had been cooking all day and it was only lunch time. I chose house dressing for the salad and was perfect. A generous piece of garlic bread on the side and I was one happy camper. I highly recommend this place, it's a hidden treasure here in Lemon Grove, you won't be disappointed.
